Following this presentation, the participants signed a statement of support that described the candidacy as “a symbol of every Space of Memory in Argentina” and stressed its purpose of “providing international visibility to the crimes against humanity committed by the civic-military dictatorship and the exemplary process of justice achieved in democracy thanks to the struggle of Human Rights organisms”.
